Top IIMs have started releasing their shortlist for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds based on CAT 2025 scores.
IIM Shortlist Criteria
- IIM Ahmedabad: CAT percentile 80%+ with strong academic profile
- IIM Bangalore: CAT percentile 85%+ with work experience preference
- IIM Calcutta: CAT percentile 90%+ with balanced scoring
- IIM Lucknow: CAT percentile 90%+ with diversity factors
- IIM Kozhikode: CAT percentile 85%+
PI-WAT Schedule
- IIM-A: March 10-20, 2026
- IIM-B: March 15-25, 2026
- IIM-C: March 5-15, 2026
- New IIMs: April 2026

- Be thorough with your work experience and achievements
- Stay updated with current affairs and business news
- Practice essay writing on trending business topics
- Review 'Why MBA' and 'Why this IIM' answers
Expected Final Cutoffs
Based on previous trends, the final admission cutoffs are expected to be: IIM-A (99.5+), IIM-B (99+), IIM-C (99+), IIM-L (97+).
