JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Updates
NTA has opened the application correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Students who have already registered can make changes to their application details.
Correction Window Details
- Correction Period: February 20-25, 2026
- Changes Allowed: Personal details, exam city preferences, photograph/signature
- Session 2 Exam: April 2-8, 2026
Key Changes for Session 2
- 5 additional exam cities added including Tier-3 cities
- Improved exam center infrastructure with better CCTV monitoring
- Digital rough sheets introduced at select centers
- Results expected within 10 days of exam completion
Session 1 vs Session 2
Students who appeared in Session 1 can improve their scores in Session 2. NTA will consider the best of the two scores for ranking purposes.
Tips for Session 2 Preparation
- Analyze your Session 1 performance to identify weak areas
- Focus on high-weightage topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Practice with PrepForBharat PYQ questions for topic-wise revision
- Take at least 5 full-length mock tests before the exam
